Welding Technology

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Welding Technology program prepares high school students for high-demand careers in construction, manufacturing, and industrial trades. Students gain hands-on experience working with industry-standard equipment while learning how to safely fabricate, cut, and assemble metal projects used in real-world applications.
Through a combination of classroom instruction and shop-based learning, students develop skills in multiple welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Emphasis is placed on safety, precision, blueprint reading, and problem-solving—skills employers are actively seeking.
Curriculum Focus:
• Manufacturing Operations
• Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
• Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
• Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
• Gas cutting, soldering and brazing
• Project building
