Back-To-School Information
Parents/guardians should have received a letter in regards to the completion and/or updating of your student’s Final Forms. If you have already completed the forms, we appreciate your cooperation. If you have not completed/updated Final Forms, please do so by August 1st.
All forms are required for parents/guardians and students to complete and sign electronically in order to be able to pick up the student’s schedule. School issued computer devices for the 2026-27 school year will be distributed the first week of school.

Schedule Pick-Up
Any student who has updated/completed Final Forms may pick up their schedules on August 13th & 14th from 8am-2pm.
FinalForms Assistance will be available on Thursday, August 13th from 4pm-5:30pm (prior to New Student Orientation).
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 5:30pm.
This is not an Open House. Please be here at the start of the session time.

Start of School
First Day of School is Monday, August 17th | 8:15am (school calendar)
Parking Lots & Routes
All student parking will be at the Career Tech Building, in designated areas.
Student drop-off & pick-up will be at the main entrance to the building. Pick-ups for school dismissal will need to wait until buses have departed before cars can leave. Parking & Entrance Info
Supplies & Fees
Certain labs will request that students purchase items to be prepared for lab. This information will be relayed by the program instructor.
There are no fees associated with any of our programs/school.
Uniforms & Clothing
Heartland Tech will provide each student with four (4) Heartland Tech t-shirts at no cost. Until those tops come in, students are permitted to wear a school appropriate shirt (must have sleeves, no mid-drift, stomach must be covered and no questionable graphics/design). Students may wear shorts that are of appropriate length (no gym shorts). Jeans and/or slacks cannot have holes or frays, sweatpants and yoga pants are not permitted. Students and families who wish to purchase additional apparel, including t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, scrubs, and other approved Heartland Tech Career Wear, may do so through our official online Career Wear Store. Orders placed through the online store will be shipped directly to your home for your convenience.
Please remember the following dress code expectation:
Heartland Tech Career Wear must be the outermost shirt or top layer worn during the school day.
Additional approved Career Wear items may be purchased through the official online store.
Students are encouraged to have enough Career Wear available to meet this expectation throughout the week.
Students should communicate with their instructors regarding specific program requirements for clothing, for example high-visibility apparel, scrubs, polos, etc.

Free/Reduced Lunch
