UPCOMING:
Firelands Electric Cooperative is excited to announce a new contest for our members and their families! To add some fun to this winter’s snow days, the cooperative is sponsoring a board game giveaway. Families living in a home that receives its electric power from Firelands Electric may enter to win one of three family board game packages. Each prize package contains five games suitable for ages seven and up, including Power Haus, which teaches players about energy consumption and efficiency (www.adventerragamesusa.com/powerhaus). Other games include the classics Yahtzee, Sorry, Uno, and Trouble.

To enter, simply visit the link below and click on the logo to open the online entry form. The deadline to submit an entry is 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30. (One entry per household please.)

National Honor Society is sponsoring a Candyland winter dance to be held in the high school cafeteria. Hunter Music will provide the DJ for the evening. Tickets are $10 each and are on sale at Hometown ticketing at: https://events.hometownticketing.com/boxoffice/hillsdale/L2VtYmVkL2V2ZW50LzE4OA%3D%3D Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. All tickets must be purchased in advance at the link above. Anyone who is bringing a guest from another school or a guest who is not a current Hillsdale student will need to complete a guest permission form. These forms are available on Google Classroom or from the self-serve file. A guest form (see self service) must be completed and turned in to Dr. Selvage before purchasing a guest ticket. Non-Hillsdale students will be denied entry to the dance without a completed guest form. No refunds will be issued. Light refreshments will be served. Proceeds from the dance, after expenses, will be donated to Hillsdale Cares. If you have any questions, please see Dr. Selvage.
